The Faculty of Medicine successfully cooperates with employers and professional organizations, such as the Latvian Medical Association, the Medical Advisory Service and the Latvian Nurses' Association.

In the field of research, there is extensive cooperation with the scientific research institutes of the University of Latvia and other research institutions, which gives students the opportunity to strengthen their academic knowledge and motivate them to get involved in research work and participate in research projects.
